Cooperative Education with the EOETC - a Dynamic Duo !

Cooperative education experiences for credit are available to all students having acquired a minimum of 16 credits, regardless of the program they are pursuing. Coop work experiences are acquired through meaningful placements in the workplace and count as credits for the Ontario Secondary School Diploma..

On-site learning and mentoring are highly beneficial to high school students heading towards professional trades or for students heading towards college-level programs. In many cases, registered apprentices can maintain a record of their work hours for specialized trades and programs. This option also allows for a smoother transition to the work place when the training program is completed at the post-secondary level.
